KWI Community

A Commitment to Caring

KWI is built upon the talents of our people, and as we seek to honor our dedicated employees, we honor our communities.

We support our community by contributing our time and skills to local organizations that enrich the quality of life in our neighboring towns. We also support larger regional and national organizations.

A dedicated committee of KWI people, representing all areas of our company, meets regularly to coordinate all our charitable efforts.

Our grass-roots efforts support many initiatives, locally, regionally and nationally.
Here are some of the organizations supported by Team KWI:

Social Initiatives

Dress to Impress: Team KWI conducts a clothing drive at our corporate headquarters and donates business attire to help men and women entering or reentering the workforce to feel confident to interview with respect and dignity.

Island Harvest: Team KWI holds regular food drives to support the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island.

Toys for Tots Foundation: Team KWI participates in an annual toy drive to bring holiday joy to needy children throughout Nassau County.

Marcum Workplace Challenge: Team KWI participates in the annual 3.5 mile event; running or walking together in support of three local charities: Long Island Children’s Museum, Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank, and Children’s Medical Fund of New York.

Health Initiatives

American Heart Association: Team KWI raises awareness for heart disease as we wear red, participate in events and contribute to this worthy cause.

National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association: KWI supports NTSAD, one of the oldest patient advocacy groups in the country, with special fund-raising events to advance their programs in service, science and support.

Autism Society of America: KWI employees support the Nassau/Suffolk chapter of the ASA by organizing raffles and bake sales to donate funds.

We are proud that our people ‘walk the talk’.
We support our employees’ individual involvement with local charitable efforts.
