Retail System Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:

The Retail System Assistant Project Manager communicates externally with clients, and internally with various departments' personnel and manages the fulfillment of client implementation systems requests for all existing and new clients. Responsibilities are included but not limited to: develop, manage, implement, and monitor KWI's service process for the clients, act as a liaison between client and various departments' personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams and assist in managing activities associated with projects that are typically cross-department or organizational entity-wide in scope. Projects range from simple to technical in nature and may last any where from a week to six months.
  • Work closely with the department heads, finance group and the Executive team to establish the scope and goals of the project and provide leadership for the definition and delivery of project initiatives
  • Develop key project documentation to thoroughly understand what staff member(s) and or consultant(s) are needed to complete projects - e.g., statements-of-work, change orders, project plans, issues list, risk management lists, status reports, meeting agendas, post-mortem reports, etc.
  • Work with the cross functional teams to identify, articulate, and assist in managing project risks and issues.
  • Effectively communicate and advise the management team of project statuses which includes inter project dependencies, external project dependencies, & realistic timelines for completion.
  • Execute project plans working with team members to understand problems, focus on bringing issues to resolution, and escalate as necessary to meet timelines.
  • Responsible for managing the queue of up coming project.
  • Must be metrics driven and have experience tracking metrics and deliverables
  • Must have experience with resource management tool and build all resource needs within master project outline.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience in IT Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Retail Experience Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and experience with formal SDLC Methodologies
  • Experience with project estimating, scheduling/planning and tracking methods
  • Experience performing risk and issue management including strategies related to identifying risks, tracking and mitigating risks
  • Hands on experience using PM Tools to manage project execution (MS Project)

CLIENT SERVICE BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description:

Work as a business partner with assigned corporate retail clients by identifying areas of improvement through business process change or system enhancement, achieving maximum returns with their retail business practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new client implementation and ongoing support
  • Review client requirements, specifications, business processes and make recommendations related to proposed solutions
  • Train client personnel (some travel required)

Required Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of retail business processes, with 5+ years experience with retail merchandising systems
  • Knowledge of at least four of the following: merchandising, allocation, replenishment, apparel, footwear, hard goods, receiving, supply chain, CRM, planning, POS, warehouse and operations.
  • Ability to interact with clients on any level
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORATION FOR LOCAL TRAVEL.

Graphic Artist/Web Designer

Job Description:

The UI/Web Designer will work on application design. Responsibilities include creating and documenting user interface design and implementation, with focus on page layouts, content formatting, determining visual appearance, and assisting in improving the usability of our entire suite of applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design standard Look & Feel for entire suite of applications and reports.
  • Create standard graphical web based components for products and applications.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards to research, recommend, and apply new graphical tools and components as they emerge.
  • Work with developers to document and review user interface enhancements.
  • Generate prototype designs for sales, marketing, and business users.
  • Design and develop graphical components for company marketing materials, company websites, and client applications.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with website design, HTML/CSS, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, Actionscript/flash and basic SQL.
  • Knowledge and experience working with open source technologies and industry standards for graphics design and website development.
  • Ability to understand requirements and translate them into graphical components and look and feel design standards.
  • Candidate must be self-sufficient and have good oral, written and visual communications skills.
  • 3 + years experience as a UI/Web designer in an application software environment.

Help Desk/POS Technician

Job Description:

Primary responsibility is sharing in the support of our clients' stores across the United States and internationally. You must be a teacher, technician, and record keeper while handling multiple tasks in a high-paced and pressurized environment. Ideal candidate will be familiar with the retail environment (POS Computer Terminals and associated components), however the more experience on supporting different technologies the better.

Responsibilities:

  • Number one priority is to provide the very highest level of service to our Clients
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve POS technical issues called in from all stores.
  • Ensure calls are clearly documented and properly tracked.
  • Provide follow up for any unresolved call issues.
  • Identify trends of incoming calls and report to Management.
  • Follow all PCI compliance guidelines to ensure client/company security

Required Skills:

  • Must be experienced in Help Desk telephone call center support
  • POS systems and/or proprietary software experience will be given preference during the resume review process
  • Experience coordinating/implementing new POS systems and upgrades a plus
  • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in information technology either through education or work experience.
  • Knowledge of common concepts, practices and procedures pertaining to PC technology is required.

We are looking for a Software Developer who is experienced with software system design and development using java, java scripts, mySQL, C, UNIX, Shell scripts and PERL. The successful candidate will be able to consistently set and meet timelines for programming assignments, eagerly take on our most challenging projects, as well as help resolve problems reported while working in a fast pace dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Java/SQL/UNIX Shell script/C programming on small and large assignments

Operations Manager

Job Description:

This position is responsible to maintain clients' relationship and continue to educate them on new KWI services and products. Responsibilities include but not limited to: customer relationship/satisfaction, be the advocate and the liaison for the Client working internally with KWI staff. Update and SELL new products, services, and solutions to existing KWI clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts, assisting merchants through auditing accounts and advising on financial information, products, and processing techniques.
  • Provide new and existing merchant accounts with proposals of rates and fees
  • Audit competing rates/fees as well as rate comparison and analysis
  • Management of assigned portfolio includes regular status reporting and ongoing maintenance of portfolio database system used to maintain accurate communication.
  • Act as transaction processing consultant for clients providing alternative processing solutions and options while identifying the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions.
  • Implement courses of actions once various possibilities have been considered and based on the merchant's best interests.
  • Develop and implements educational programs designed to improve client's transaction processing performance utilizing online Web tools
  • Work with internal departments to ensure a high level of support for the client. Examples include resolving software, hardware, and policy problems.
  • Manage communications with third-party business partners to ensure a unified account management strategy with client base.
  • Manage banking conversions as the lead project manager for our company. Maintains lines of communication with banking partner to ensure accuracy of account setup, product deployment, merchant processing, and follows up to determine satisfaction of merchants and banking partner.
  • Develop, advises, and interprets operating practices and applies discretion when deviating from established policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolves matters with third-party business partners, banking partners, merchants, and internal departments.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years accounting experience
  • 2-3 years managerial experience
  • Operational experience in retail is strongly preferred

This position will be responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of employees

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts employee, management, or organizational needs assessments or task analyses;
  • Researches a variety of pertinent subject matter literature and confers with job experts and other persons with relevant knowledge in order to establish a subject matter foundation for training;
  • Determines objectives, methods of instruction, and develops curriculum and lesson plans, or designs other programs for problems which can be solved through means other than training;
  • Instructs individuals or groups in a variety of subject matter areas and performs the role of facilitator or resource person;

Required Skills:

  • Experience with e-learning, blended learning, and action learning programs.
  • Ability to be resourceful.

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst who can design and execute a comprehensive testing plan. The successful candidate will be able to consistently set and meet timelines for testing tasks, as well as help resolve problems reported.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining a comprehensive testing plan, including regression testing
  • Set timing budgets to ensure timely delivery of commitments
  • Mapping QA strategies for coders to follow
  • Assisting programmers with alpha testing
  • Classifying and resolving bug reports

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years experience testing Java, C language, SQL, and Unix shell code
  • 1-2 years experience using professional testing software
  • Programming experience with Java/C/SQL/shell are a huge +
  • Ability to multitask with proven tight deadline experience in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must work well independently
  • Excellent communication skills are a must
  • Familiarity with Solaris environment a plus
